Having spent a lifetime in the world of graphic art, Cliff is now also enjoying the visual arts from the ‘Creative Gallery’ in the ancient Saxon town of Wareham in Dorset UK

Cliff particularly enjoys painting vividly detailed wildlife studies and travels all over the world to research subjects, although he is lucky enough to live and work in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The paradise that is the Isle of Purbeck and the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, England, is rich in natural habitats and living landscapes. Chalk hills fall into the sea and wild heathland surround Poole Harbour which is the largest natural harbour in Europe and a haven for Avocets and other wading birds. Brownsea Island is famous for its Red Squirrels, Peacocks and wildlife lagoon.

Many Dorset landscapes have been designated as nature reserves and are looked after with conservation projects by the Wildlife Trust, Natural England and the National Trust.
